How Lucca uses AI

Lucca is upfront about where AI helps, what data is processed, and how we keep your job search private.

AI is a tool, not a replacement for you

Lucca uses AI to read public job postings, compare them against the profile you build, and draft resumes and interview prep that you can edit before sending. You stay in control of every application.

What AI actually does here

We use language models to summarize job descriptions, score fit against your stated preferences, rewrite resumes in your voice, generate interview questions from a posting, and suggest next steps. We do not use AI to make hiring decisions or contact employers on your behalf.

What data is sent to AI providers

Only the minimum information needed for a task: the text of a job posting, the preferences and facts you add to your profile, and the resume content you upload. We do not sell, publish, or use your data to train third-party models.

How we choose providers

We work with providers that process data under standard terms and do not retain inputs for model training. Providers may change as the market improves, but our privacy and deletion commitments stay the same.

Outputs are drafts, not facts

AI can misread a posting or miss nuance. Every resume, summary, and prep note should be reviewed by you before it reaches an employer. If something looks off, tell us and we will use it to improve your future matches.

You can delete your data

Your saved jobs, profile facts, and uploads belong to you. Deleting your account removes your data from Lucca. If you ever want a copy of what we hold, reach out and we will provide it.
